Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences

  • Educate customers on the different strains, consumption methods, and proper dosages

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and regulations

  • Ensure that the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing

  • Conduct sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system

  • Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all state and local regulations

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs

  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and create a positive atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service

  • Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Must pass a background check and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the cannabis industry

  • Knowledge of local and state cannabis regulations

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Packaging/Manufacturing Technician

Job Title: Packaging Technician

Job Type: Manufacturing

Reports to: Packaging Manager

Salary Range: D.O.E

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Position Objective: We are seeking a strong individual for our packaging department, including inventory control, filing hardware, and quality control. The individual must have a good understanding of the Bio-Track Inventory Tracking System and the New Mexico RLD rules and regulations. Our packaging department is a fast-paced work environment that requires attention to detail. As a Packaging Associate, the work performed by the employee shall be under the general supervision of the packaging department leader.

Essential Functions:

Fill, box, and label products to meet daily packaging targets according to SOPS.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine inventory tracking and spreadsheets

Perform daily janitorial tasks (sweeping, cleaning, mopping, taking out trash, washing fixtures, etc.) of assigned work area areas

Develop an autonomous command of all packaging procedures

Ensure all finished goods have been checked to meet quality standards

Develop a strong understanding of the Bio-Track tracking system

Ensure all production is accurately recorded in the tracking system

Observe and maintain the highest standards of 5S methodology.

Execute daily, weekly, and monthly routine equipment cleaning and maintenance

Package finished products with a high degree of task-focus

Adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Ensures work area is clean and free of safety hazards

Strong attention to detail and maintain the overall quality of the materials through the production process

A positive and professional attitude and a consistent work ethic; must be self-motivated and work well alone as well as on a team.

Ability to remain flexible to changes in responsibilities and scheduling

Must be at least 21 years of age

This position is held within a highly compliant and secured manufacturing facility.Willing to perform additional duties as necessary to maintain a compliant, clean, safe, and inviting environment for our team members and customers supporting all licensed activities is required.

The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business (Nights, Weekends, Holidays included).
